NoBroker.com has achieved a significant milestone with revenue crossing ₹1,000 crore in FY25, according to CEO Amit Kumar Agarwal. As reported by PTI, the proptech startup's revenue grew to ₹965 crore in 2024-25 from ₹888 crore in the preceding year. The company has also reduced losses by 25-30% to around ₹300 crore, demonstrating strong progress toward profitability. Agarwal stated that the company is looking at being profitable within the next 8-10 months, with losses declining every fiscal year through rising revenue numbers and cost optimization. In the last fiscal year, Agarwal noted that "Our revenue has crossed ₹1,000 crore although the final numbers are still being audited. We continue making strong progress towards profitability."
According to PTI reports, NoBroker operates mainly in listing properties for renting, buying, and selling without charging customers any brokerage fees. The company's revenue breakdown shows around 50% from the core buy, sell and rent vertical, where many customers take paid plans for better leads. The remaining 50% comes from Movers & Packers, home interiors, NoBrokerHood and home services. The platform also offers additional services such as movers and packers and manages housing societies through the NoBrokerHood app. Asked about the revenue breakup, Agarwal confirmed that "around 50 per cent comes from the core buy, sell and rent vertical, where many customers take paid plans for better leads."
As reported by PTI, NoBroker is present in 6 cities - Bengaluru, Mumbai, Pune, Hyderabad, Chennai, and Delhi-NCR. Its society management platform NoBrokerHood is present in 11 cities, serving more than 25,000 societies and 48,00,000 families. The company was founded by Akhil Gupta from IIT-Bombay, Amit Kumar Agarwal from IIT-Kanpur and IIM-Ahmedabad, and Saurabh Garg from IIT-Bombay and IIM-Ahmedabad. In November 2021, NoBroker became a unicorn after raising USD 210 million at a USD 1 billion valuation from investors including General Atlantic and Tiger Global. The funds were raised at a $1 billion valuation, making it the first unicorn in the proptech sector. NoBroker has so far raised $361 million in total funding.
According to PTI reports, NoBroker's entire focus is currently on becoming profitable, with the company not looking at raising funds from investors or launching an IPO at this stage. After achieving profitability, the company could consider an IPO. Agarwal noted that high-potential verticals such as Packers & Movers, NoBrokerHood, home services, and home interiors are becoming significant growth engines. The company aims to build these businesses at scale and evolve NoBroker into a much broader platform for consumers' real estate journey. "Beyond our core real estate business, high-potential verticals such as Packers & Movers, NoBrokerHood, home services, and home interiors are becoming significant growth engines for us. Our focus is to build these businesses at scale and evolve NoBroker into a much broader platform for our consumers' real estate journey," Agarwal said.
