Digital lending platform mPokket has set ambitious expansion targets, aiming to achieve annual loan disbursals of more than ₹25,000 crore and scale its loan book to over ₹20,000 crore within the next three years. According to reports from The Hindu BusinessLine and Rediff Moneynews, these targets are driven by strong demand for micro-credit in underserved markets. The fintech company expects to cross USD 5.5 billion (over ₹52,000 crore) in lifetime disbursals during the current financial year (FY26), as confirmed by mPokket Founder and CEO Gaurav Jalan. "As we prepare to cross USD 5.5 billion in lifetime disbursals and continue scaling our platform, we remain focused on building a stronger and more inclusive credit ecosystem," Jalan stated.
The company has demonstrated significant growth in its customer acquisition, onboarding more than 6.5 million New-to-Credit (NTC) customers into the formal financial ecosystem. As reported by The Hindu BusinessLine and Rediff Moneynews, this growth has been driven by a sustained 20 per cent year-on-year growth in NTC customer acquisition over the past three years. The digital lender primarily caters to young working professionals, self-employed individuals, and college students across tier-2 and tier-3 towns, providing short-term personal and micro-loans through its mobile platform.
According to the company announcement, mPokket has announced an increase in the ticket size for small business owners to up to ₹2 lakh. This expansion has significantly diversified its customer base while strengthening its position in India's fast-growing New-to-Credit market. The company aims to accelerate credit penetration while keeping a tight check on risk parameters, focusing on building a stronger and more inclusive credit ecosystem.
