
Realty firm Vera Vita Living LLP is set to invest ₹250 crore in a groundbreaking housing initiative dedicated to senior citizens. According to reports from The Economic Times and PTI, this marks the first project by the newly established company, founded by Arudradev Rao, Dhruv Badruka and Tanay Saboo. The project will develop 256 flats on a 2.5-acre site located at Outer Ring Road near the Kandlakoya reserve forest in Hyderabad, with Saboo confirming the investment amount to PTI.
As reported by The Economic Times and PTI, the project will feature preventive healthcare, recreation, dining and concierge services specifically designed for elderly residents. The apartment pricing ranges from ₹85 lakh to ₹2.5 crore, with the company funding construction costs through internal accruals. This represents the first project in a 13-acre master plan, with plans to launch additional properties in the future.
According to The Economic Times and PTI, Saboo emphasized that demand for senior homes remains strong in South India, including Hyderabad. The company is actively exploring expansion opportunities in Visakhapatnam, Bengaluru, Chennai, Coonoor and Pune as part of its growth strategy. Badruka noted that today's seniors are financially independent, well-travelled, socially active and attentive to health and wellness, seeking thoughtfully designed communities where they can continue living independently and pursue their interests.
As reported by The Economic Times and PTI, according to real estate consultant Colliers India, real estate developers and investors have committed investments of more than ₹13,000 crore since January last year to build senior living homes. These investments are expected to materialize during the next 3-4 years, reflecting the growing demand for senior living accommodations across India.
