
Godrej Properties Ltd has acquired a 23.2-acre land parcel in Greater Noida through auction for over ₹500 crore to develop a housing project. According to reports from The Economic Times and PTI, the company won the bid for the residential land parcel in DMIC integrated township, Greater Noida, through an e-auction conducted by DMIC Integrated Industrial Township, Greater Noida Ltd. The company expects the group housing project to offer an estimated revenue potential of over ₹7,000 crore. In a regulatory filing submitted to BSE Limited and The National Stock Exchange of India Limited on June 01, 2026, the company informed that it has "won the bid for a 23.2 acres (93,905 square metre) residential land parcel in DMIC integrated township, Greater Noida, through an e-auction".
This acquisition is part of Godrej Properties' aggressive land acquisition strategy in 2025-26, when the company acquired 18 land parcels to develop housing projects with a combined revenue potential of ₹42,100 crore. As reported by The Economic Times and PTI, MD and CEO Gaurav Pandey stated that the company has witnessed consistent demand for existing projects in Noida and remains bullish on this market. The acquisition will further strengthen the company's development portfolio in Delhi-NCR and aligns with their strategy of deepening presence in key micro markets across India's leading cities. The 23.2-acre plot spans 93,905 sq. mtr. and is situated within a 750-acre smart plug-and-play infrastructure zone with strong connectivity to the Eastern Peripheral Expressway, Noida-Greater Noida Expressway, and the upcoming Noida International Airport at Jewar.
Godrej Properties has demonstrated exceptional market performance in Greater Noida, with two recent FY26 launches delivering sales of approximately ₹1,500 crore each. According to The Economic Times, the company's net profit increased to ₹1,850.20 crore in the full 2025-26 fiscal from ₹1,399.89 crore in the preceding year. The company's total income rose to ₹8,410.88 crore in the last fiscal from ₹6,967.05 crore during 2024-25. The company has set ambitious targets for the current fiscal, aiming to achieve ₹39,000 crore sales bookings compared to a record ₹34,171 crore in 2025-26, and targeting to collect ₹24,000 crore from customers during this fiscal.
Godrej Properties shares responded positively to the acquisition announcement, with the stock trading at ₹1,764.30 on BSE compared to the previous close of ₹1,789.15. The stock hit an intraday high of ₹1,837.00 and intraday low of ₹1,752.50, with a total turnover of ₹154.21 crore during the trading session. As per The Economic Times, shares were traded in over 38,290 trades with a total number of 860,118 shares changing hands. The positive market response reflects investor confidence in the company's strategic expansion in the Greater Noida market.
