Public sector lender Punjab National Bank (PNB) has launched a new credit card in the premium category, the LUXURA Metal Credit Card on the VISA Infinite platform. According to reports from Upstox News Desk, the card is designed for customers with evolving lifestyle aspirations, offering higher credit limits, more rewards, and additional travel benefits. With this launch, the Luxura card will now be available on both RuPay and Visa platforms, providing customers with more options and wider global acceptance. As reported by Upstox News Desk, metal credit cards are becoming more popular in India, mainly among premium users, with both government and private banks launching metal cards to attract customers who spend more and want better travel and lifestyle benefits.
The card offers 4 reward points for every ₹100 spent and includes a welcome benefit of 20,000 reward points (equivalent to ₹5,000) on spending ₹50,000 within the first 90 days. As reported by Upstox News Desk, customers earn 3X reward points on travel and dining, and receive 10,000 bonus reward points on annual spends of ₹5 lakh. The joining fee for the card is ₹4,999 (plus GST), and the annual fee is ₹1,999 (plus GST).
The card provides zero foreign exchange markup on international transactions and offers unlimited complimentary access to domestic and international airport lounges. According to the report, customers can access Visa Luxury Hotel Collection benefits including daily breakfast for two, food and beverage credits, complimentary Wi-Fi, VIP guest status, room upgrades and late check-out. The card also provides savings of up to 20% under the Visa Dine & Save programme and offers discounts on domestic and international flights and hotel bookings through platforms like Ixigo, Agoda, Expedia and Trip.com.
The LUXURA Metal Credit Card includes buy-one-get-one movie tickets on BookMyShow, discounts on events, dining and shopping on District, and grocery discounts and savings on BigBasket. As reported by Upstox News Desk, the card offers fuel surcharge waiver of up to ₹350 per billing cycle and provides 24x7 Visa Concierge Services with personalised assistance for travel planning, dining reservations, healthcare support, entertainment bookings, gifting, shopping and lifestyle needs. The card also provides exclusive offers at leading hospitality brands, including IHG Hotels, ITC Hotels and Elivaas Villas.
