
LIC Mutual Fund has announced significant changes in fund management responsibilities across 20+ schemes with effect from July 1, 2026. According to reports from LIC Mutual Fund, the changes affect multiple equity and debt schemes, representing one of the largest management transitions in the fund house's portfolio. The changes affect both existing fund managers and bring in new personnel to manage various investment strategies.
The most significant changes involve Sumit Bhatnagar and Pratik Harish Shroff, who are being replaced across multiple schemes. As reported by LIC Mutual Fund, Bhatnagar is being replaced in schemes like LIC MF Aggressive Hybrid Fund, LIC MF Conservative Hybrid Fund, LIC MF Equity Savings Fund, and LIC MF Technology Fund. Shroff is being replaced in schemes such as LIC MF Aggressive Hybrid Fund, LIC MF Balanced Advantage Fund, LIC MF Children's Fund, and LIC MF Conservative Hybrid Fund.
Manoj Bajpai and Siddharth Panjwani are among the new fund managers being appointed across multiple schemes. According to LIC Mutual Fund, Bajpai will manage LIC MF Aggressive Hybrid Fund, LIC MF Balanced Advantage Fund, and LIC MF Equity Savings Fund, while Panjwani will oversee LIC MF Children's Fund, LIC MF Conservative Hybrid Fund, and LIC MF Technology Fund. Sasikant Aravamuthan is being appointed as co-fund manager across several schemes including LIC MF Arbitrage Fund, LIC MF BSE Sensex ETF, and LIC MF Nifty 100 ETF.
The management changes extend to exchange-traded funds and index funds, with Nikhil Kapoor being replaced in LIC MF BSE Sensex ETF, LIC MF Nifty 100 ETF, and LIC MF Nifty 50 Index Fund. As reported by LIC Mutual Fund, Kapoor will continue managing LIC MF Gold ETF and LIC MF Gold ETF FoF alongside Aravamuthan. The changes also affect sector-specific funds, with Mahesh Bendre being replaced in LIC MF Infrastructure Fund and LIC MF Midcap Fund, while Dikshit Mittal continues managing LIC MF Small Cap Fund and LIC MF Nifty Midcap 100 ETF.
