
Baroda BNP Paribas Mutual Fund has announced the resumption of fresh subscriptions through multiple channels in its Baroda BNP Paribas Aqua FoF. According to reports from Value Research, the fund house has made this announcement effective from September 1, 2026. The resumption covers lumpsum, switch ins, SIP and STP registrations, providing investors with multiple entry points into the fund.
The fund house has opened four different investment routes for investors to participate in the Baroda BNP Paribas Aqua FoF. As reported by Value Research, investors can now subscribe through lumpsum investments, switch-in transactions, Systematic Investment Plans (SIP), and Systematic Transfer Plans (STP). The scheme offers minimum application amount of ₹5,000 with multiples of ₹1 thereafter, and minimum additional application of ₹1,000 in multiples of ₹1. The fund operates as an open-ended scheme with no upper limits on investments.
The Baroda BNP Paribas Aqua FoF has delivered strong performance with 1-year CAGR of 16.33% and 3-year CAGR of 31.16% as of July 31, 2026. The scheme's 5-year CAGR stands at 11.86%, significantly outperforming the MSCI World Index TRI benchmark of 7.70% over the same period. The fund's performance demonstrates its ability to generate capital appreciation through its investment strategy in BNP Paribas Funds Aqua (Lux). Latest NAV data shows the fund trading at ₹16.73 with an asset size of ₹58.69 crore.
The scheme offers comprehensive investment flexibility with daily, weekly, monthly and quarterly SIP options starting from ₹500 monthly and ₹1,500 quarterly. For systematic withdrawal plans, investors can choose between ₹1,000 weekly/monthly and ₹1,500 quarterly options. The fund operates as an open-ended scheme with no upper limits on investments, making it accessible to various investor categories seeking wealth creation through international diversification. The fund carries an exit load of 1% if redeemed within 12 months.
The Baroda BNP Paribas Aqua FoF was launched on May 7, 2021, with the investment objective of seeking capital appreciation by investing predominantly in units of BNP Paribas Funds Aqua (Lux). The fund is benchmarked against the MSCI World Index and carries a Very High risk category rating as per SEBI's latest guidelines. The asset allocation comprises 98.19% in equities, 2.08% in debts, and -0.27% in cash & cash equivalents. The top holding is BNP Paribas Funds Aqua U18 USD Capitalisation which constitutes around 99.34% of the assets. For taxation purposes, gains from units redeemed within 3 years are taxed as per applicable slab rates, while gains after 3 years are taxed at 20% post indexation benefits.
