Sunil Singhania-led Abakkus Mutual Fund has achieved a significant milestone by crossing the ₹10,056 crore mark in assets under management (AUM) as of August 13, 2026. According to reports from Upstox, the fund house reached this milestone within eight months of launching its first scheme, demonstrating rapid growth in the competitive mutual fund landscape.
The fund house now operates four schemes, including three equity funds and a liquid fund. As reported by Upstox, the Abakkus flexi cap fund, launched in December 2025, has delivered 11.9% over six months in the direct-growth plan. The Abakkus small cap fund, launched in March 2026, has posted the strongest return with 26% since its launch, while the Abakkus liquid fund has achieved 6.1% in six months.
According to ACE MF data as of August 17, the Abakkus flexi cap fund dominates with an AUM of ₹6,338 crore, making it the largest scheme in the fund house's portfolio. As reported by Upstox, the small cap fund holds ₹2,113 crore in assets, while the liquid fund accounts for ₹483 crore. The flexi cap fund's substantial AUM despite being launched only in December 2025 highlights its strong market appeal.
The portfolio data reveals interesting differences between the equity funds' investment approaches. According to ACE MF data reported by Upstox, the small cap fund holds 62 stocks compared to the flexi cap fund's 45 stocks*. The top five sectors account for 45.02% of the small cap portfolio and 52.58% of the flexi cap portfolio. The large & mid cap fund, launched in August 2026, remains too new for meaningful performance assessment.
