The scheme offers Entry Load of nil and Exit Load of 1% if redeemed within 90 days from allotment, with minimum subscription amount of ₹500. The fund will be benchmarked against the Nifty 200 Quality 30 Total Return Index and managed by fund managers Ankit Agarwal, Varun Sharma, Ajay Khandelwal, Rakesh Shetty and Swapnil Mayekar. Bank of India Mutual Fund also launched Bank of India Value Fund, an open-ended equity scheme following value investment strategy, with NFO opening on August 28, 2026 and closing on September 11, 2026. The scheme offers Entry Load of nil and Exit Load of 10% if redeemed within three months, with minimum subscription amount of ₹5,000.
Several mutual fund houses announced significant changes to their fund management teams on August 27, 2026. Quant Mutual Fund revised the fund management responsibilities of the Quant Silver ETF, with Sameer Kate, Yug Tibrewal and Sanjeev Sharma becoming the new money managers effective August 25, 2026. The changes have been incorporated into the scheme's Statement of Information Document (SID) and Key Information Memorandum (KIM), with other terms and features remaining unchanged. Meanwhile, Aditya Birla Sun Life Mutual Fund reassigned fund management responsibilities for five schemes effective August 28, 2026. The affected schemes include Aditya Birla Sun Life Multi-Asset Omni FOF, Aditya Birla Sun Life Dynamic Asset Allocation Omni FOF, Aditya Birla Sun Life Multi-Asset Passive FOF, Aditya Birla Sun Life Aggressive Hybrid Omni FOF and Aditya Birla Sun Life Conservative Hybrid Active FOF, with Kartikeya Singh taking over as the new fund manager.
ICICI Prudential Mutual Fund announced IDCW distributions for two schemes with record date of September 1, 2026. ICICI Prudential Aggressive Hybrid Fund will distribute ₹0.16 per unit under Monthly IDCW and Direct Plan – Monthly IDCW options, while ICICI Prudential Arbitrage Fund will distribute ₹0.0500 per unit under IDCW and Direct Plan – IDCW options. HDFC Balanced Advantage Fund approved IDCW distribution with record date of August 25, 2026, distributing ₹0.250 per unit under Regular Plan – IDCW Option and Direct Plan – IDCW Option. All distributions are applicable to Regular Plan and Direct Plan options under Payout and Reinvestment.
LIC Mutual Fund expanded its investor service network by adding an Investor Service Centre (ISC) in Udupi, Karnataka. The new ISC is located at KFIN Technologies, Suhel Building, 9-3-39C, Near Fish Market, Opp PPC Road, Chitpady, Udupi-576101, Karnataka with contact number 08207966169. This ISC will serve as an Official Point of Acceptance for transactions in LIC Mutual Fund schemes, with the notice forming an integral part of the Scheme Information Document (SID) and Key Information Memorandum (KIM) as amended from time to time.
Recent analysis by ETMutualFunds reveals that around 12 equity mutual funds have turned a ₹10,000 monthly SIP into over ₹11 crore since their respective inceptions. Among 305 equity funds analyzed, 110 funds turned the same monthly SIP into over ₹1 crore, with Nippon India Growth Mid Cap Fund topping the list at ₹29.32 crore with an XIRR of 22.22% since its October 1995 launch. Franklin India Mid Cap Fund followed with ₹24.04 crore and an XIRR of 19.73%, while HDFC Flexi Cap Fund and HDFC ELSS Tax Saver Fund delivered ₹22.76 crore and ₹21.26 crore respectively. The analysis included regular and growth options of all equity funds excluding sectoral and thematic funds, with performance calculated since respective inception dates. Quant Small Cap Fund turned the same SIP amount into ₹4.96 crore with an XIRR of 14.48%, while Quant Multi Cap Fund and Quant ELSS Tax Saver Fund achieved ₹4.09 crore and ₹3.95 crore respectively. Kotak Small Cap Fund delivered ₹2.05 crore with an XIRR of 16.60%, and Invesco India Midcap Fund turned the SIP into ₹1.99 crore with an XIRR of 19.24%.
