
Faridabad-based Victura Group, which manufactures automotive components, has appointed Rothschild as an independent advisor to oversee its public listing process. According to reports from Mint, the company has held initial discussions with merchant bankers and is expected to make appointments over the coming months for a potential listing later next year. The IPO is expected to raise $300-400 million and will likely be a mix of primary capital raise and secondary share sale by existing shareholders. As confirmed by sources familiar with the matter, Rothschild has been roped in as an independent advisor to help with the listing process, with the company expected to make merchant banker appointments in the coming months.
If successful, Victura will join the growing list of auto component makers that have gone public this year, including Hero Motors and Dhoot Transmission. As reported by Mint, Bain-backed RSB Transmissions has also kicked off a public listing process. The company competes with major automotive component manufacturers like Uno Minda, Motherson Group, Varroc Engineering, JBM Group and Indo Autotech. According to documents sourced by Tofler from the corporate affairs ministry, Victura reported operating revenue of ₹3,284.95 crore in FY25 compared with ₹2,900 crore in the previous year. The company's net profit also rose to ₹278.85 crore from ₹250.84 crore in FY24. The company is likely to use the IPO proceeds to expand operations, as the promoters look to pare some of their stake. Established in 1972 by the Banga family, Victura manufactures and supplies automotive components including sheet metal components, automotive seat frames, exhaust system components, stampings, exhaust hangers & pressure pipes, forged components, and CNC & machined components. The company, which set up its first plant in Faridabad, has expanded to five other states and operates 10 warehousing centres across the US, Mexico, the Czech Republic, South Africa and Europe. Its major customers include MSIL, TML, M&M, JCB Group, International Tractors Limited (ITL), FCC Group, Plastic Omnium Auto Energy (export market), Adient India Private Limited, Rane NSK, and others. According to a Crisil report, the company's clients include original equipment manufacturers in the PV, 2W, tractor, agricultural and construction equipment segments.
