
Shakti Polytarp made its stock market debut on BSE SME today, listing at ₹58.90 per share - a 0.17% discount to its issue price of ₹59. The stock has since recovered to trade 0.42% higher at ₹59.25, demonstrating positive early market sentiment. The scrip hit an intraday high of ₹61.40 and low of ₹56.36, with about 19.38 lakh shares changing hands on the BSE. According to Business Standard, the IPO was subscribed 11.20 times during its subscription period from September 15-17, 2026.
As reported by The Economic Times, the grey market premium (GMP) activity remained mixed ahead of the listings. Shakti Polytarp was commanding a 10% GMP, indicating an estimated listing price of around ₹65 per share based on the upper price band of ₹59. Vama Wovenfab was trading at a 1% premium, or ₹3, with an estimated listing price of around ₹344 per share at the upper price band of ₹341. However, Quanto Agroworld had no GMP in the grey market ahead of its debut. According to The Economic Times, investors should note that the grey market premium (GMP) is an unofficial indicator and may not translate into the actual listing price.
Shakti Polytarp demonstrated strong financial performance for FY2026, with sales increasing 29.7% to ₹215.65 crore. The company's profitability showed remarkable growth, with profit before tax rising 97% to ₹13.59 crore and profit after tax increasing 102.6% to ₹10.06 crore. The IPO comprised a fresh issue of 45.64 lakh equity shares with a face value of ₹10 each, with the company planning to use ₹20.88 crore of proceeds for capital expenditure towards purchase of plant and machinery, while the remaining funds will be utilized for general corporate purposes.
Under the anchor allocation, 8.22 lakh equity shares were allotted to four anchor investors at ₹59 per share. NAV Capital VCC - Nav Capital Emerging Star Fund received 3.08 lakh shares, while Venturex Fund I received 1.70 lakh shares, and Aarth AIF Growth Fund and Tiger Strategies Fund - I received 1.72 lakh shares each.
