
Kwick Forensic Solutions IPO achieved 272.5x subscription on the final day (August 31), with retail investors showing exceptional demand by subscribing 318.52x their allocated portion. According to Moneycontrol, the company received bids for 110.04 crore equity shares against the offer size of 40.38 lakh shares through 2.17 lakh applications during the subscription period from August 27-31. The non-institutional investor (NII) portion was subscribed 237.01x, while the qualified institutional buyers (QIBs) portion was subscribed 227.85x. The IPO opened for subscription on August 27, 2026, and will close on August 31, with allotment expected on September 1 and listing scheduled for September 3 on BSE SME platform.
The ₹50.77 crore IPO comprises a fresh issue of 45.61 lakh shares worth ₹41.05 crore and an offer for sale of 10.8 lakh shares aggregating to ₹9.72 crore. As reported by Moneycontrol, the company has fixed the IPO price band at ₹85–90 per share with a face value of ₹10 per share and lot size of 1,600 shares. At the upper end of the price band, retail investors need to invest a minimum of ₹2.88 lakh for 3,200 shares, while HNI investors require an investment of ₹4.32 lakh for 4,800 shares. The bids received were valued at more than ₹9,904 crore, significantly higher than the company's market capitalisation of ₹192.92 crore. Corporate Capital Ventures Pvt. Ltd. serves as the sole merchant banker managing the public issue.
According to Moneycontrol, the company demonstrated strong financial growth with profit growing 57.8% to ₹13.5 crore in FY26, compared with ₹8.6 crore in the previous year. Revenue during the same period increased 62.6% to ₹105.7 crore from ₹65 crore. The IPO proceeds allocation includes approximately ₹31.42 crore earmarked for working capital requirements, with the remaining funds designated for general corporate purposes. The company had already raised ₹14.42 crore from 10 anchor investors on August 25, including Bharat Venture Opportunities Fund, CP Capital, Tiger Strategies Fund, Hem Growth Opportunities Fund, Lighthouse Canton Special Opportunities Fund, and Finavenue Capital Trust.
The grey market premium stands at more than 75%, indicating strong investor confidence ahead of the listing. As per Moneycontrol, the grey market premium has been trending upward, with the current premium suggesting positive outlook for the listing. The company may also be benefiting from a first-mover advantage in the sector as it does not have comparable listed peer. The grey market premium serves as an unofficial indicator of potential listing performance, though it may not accurately reflect the company's fundamentals. The company is expected to finalise the IPO share allotment by September 1, while trading in Kwick Forensic Solutions shares is likely to commence on the BSE SME platform on September 3.

The company provides installation, training, demonstrations and technical support to key customers including police departments, forensic laboratories, fingerprint bureaus, crime investigation departments, police academies, universities and government institutions. The company maintains 33 employees on payroll and 12 employees on contract as of July 31, 2026, across various functional areas including administration, finance, legal and compliance, operations, R&D, sales and marketing, tendering and management.
