Reacting to the listing, Vinay C. Sekar, Chief Executive Officer of Cube Highways Trust, described the successful public offering as a strong endorsement of the Trust's portfolio and strategy. According to The Hindu BusinessLine, Pankaj C. Vasani, Group Chief Financial Officer, struck a measured note, describing the listing as the start of an obligation to the expanded unitholder base rather than an end in itself, and emphasising governance and disciplined stewardship of public capital. Vasani highlighted that while the trust's units had previously been listed on a private platform, the public listing marks the beginning of a broader partnership with retail and institutional investors. "Today's milestone is about far more than the opening bell, the successful ₹5,000-crore offer, the overwhelming investor response, becoming India's largest publicly listed InvIT, or being the first InvIT to transition from a privately listed to a publicly listed platform. Above all, it is about the trust we have earned, the value we aspire to create, and the disciplined stewardship of the public capital entrusted to us," he said. The Singapore-based trust, sponsored by Cube Highways and Infrastructure V Pte. Ltd., becomes India's largest publicly listed InvIT and is the first InvIT to transition from a privately listed to a publicly listed platform. The public listing broadens its investor base significantly, bringing in thousands of new unitholders beyond the institutional and strategic investors who were part of its earlier private structure.
