
The primary market is set to witness unprecedented activity in early August 2026, with seven companies preparing to launch IPOs targeting to collectively raise around ₹9,500 crore. According to latest reports, this follows a record-breaking July where the mainboard IPO market witnessed its strongest month since November 2024, with 12 companies raising around ₹28,650 crore. The upcoming week promises a busy period for investors seeking new investment opportunities across both mainboard and SME segments, with six new IPOs scheduled to open between 3 and 9 August 2026. As per Axis Capital's August IPO Market Update, India's IPO market is set for stronger momentum in Q2 FY27, with 146 companies already approved by SEBI and awaiting market entry, while another 65 companies have filed their draft red herring prospectuses.
Dhoot Transmission leads the August pipeline with expectations to raise around ₹2,500 crore through its IPO, targeting a valuation of around ₹15,000 crore. The Bain Capital-backed wiring harness manufacturer is expected to downsize its issue size and may undertake a pre-IPO placement. Leap India Ltd is expected to raise around ₹2,400 crore as early as next week, backed by private equity firm KKR and positioned as India's largest on-demand asset pooling and material handling equipment solutions provider for the supply chain sector. Innovatiview India is expected to raise around ₹2,000 crore through a complete offer for sale, providing integrated examination security, surveillance and automation solutions. Milky Mist Dairy Foods, one of India's leading value-added dairy brands, has reduced its IPO size to ₹15.53 billion ($162.83 million) from the earlier target of ₹20.35 billion, with the offering set to launch next week from August 11-13 and anchor investors getting priority on August 10.
Juniper Green Energy's ₹1,800 crore IPO, which opened on 30 July, will close on 3 August. According to Live Mint, the company has set the IPO price band at ₹214-225 per share, with one lot consisting of 66 shares requiring a minimum investment of ₹14,850. Shares are expected to list on 6 August. Similarly, MV Electrosystems IPO will remain open till 3 August with a price band of ₹400-425 per share, and its shares are likely to list on 6 August. Anawil Wire & Engineering IPO will be open from 3 to 5 August with a price band of ₹257-270, while Aegeus Technologies IPO will remain open from 4 to 6 August with a price band of ₹100-105.
Several other companies are in advanced stages of IPO preparations, with issue sizes currently being finalised. These include Truhome Finance, Elevate Campuses, Shiprocket, ARCIL, Gaja Alternative Asset Management, Shankesh Jewellers, Learnfluence Education, Rays of Belief Ltd and Hy-Tech Engineers. All three people aware of the matter said discussions are at an advanced stage and these companies could launch their IPOs soon. Ardee Industries has already launched its ₹425 crore IPO, which will open on 5 August and close on 7 August, targeting to raise ₹425.87 crore through the issue. Technocraft Ventures has also launched its IPO, which will open on 7 August and remain open till 11 August, featuring both fresh shares and Offer for Sale components.
The IPO pipeline remains strong after a record July for the primary market despite volatility in equity markets amid renewed US-Iran tensions and crude oil prices crossing $100 per barrel. SBI Funds Management led the July fundraising by raising ₹9,796 crore, followed by Manipal Health Enterprises at ₹9,276 crore, Indo-MIM at ₹3,810 crore, Juniper Green Energy at ₹1,800 crore and Lohia Corp Ltd at ₹1,102 crore. According to Axis Capital's August IPO Market Update, the combined market capitalisation of 407 mainboard IPO-listed companies tracked by Axis Capital, which were listed between July 2020 and July 2026, increased 4.89 per cent to ₹64.59 lakh crore in July from ₹61.58 lakh crore in June, outperforming the broader equity market. The upcoming IPO pipeline features several marquee names including Jio Platforms, National Stock Exchange (NSE), PhonePe, Zepto, Oravel Stays (Oyo), Cult.Fit, Indian Gas Exchange, Acevector (Snapdeal), Imagine Marketing (boAt), Manipal Payment and Identity Solutions, and Playsimple Games.
