As reported by ET Now, Citi believes the jewellery business of Titan Company continues to be an outlier in terms of growth and demand despite facing industry headwinds. The brokerage expects the company's strong execution and leadership position to continue supporting earnings momentum. Pointing out that while volatility in gold prices remains a near-term risk, Citi noted that Titan's strong brand strength, robust sourcing capabilities, aggressive store expansion, continued gains in market share, and improving performance of its CaratLane and Mia brands are likely to drive sustained earnings growth. The brokerage also expects the company's product mix to improve in the upcoming days, with growth in gold coin sales likely to moderate while studded jewellery is expected to grow faster than plain gold jewellery.
According to ET Now reports, the positive rating revision and target price upgrade have generated significant market interest in Titan Company. The 15% upside potential from the current market price reflects Citi's confidence in the company's growth trajectory. The global brokerage's introduction of a 90-day positive catalyst watch indicates its expectation of favourable near-term triggers that could drive the stock higher in the coming months.
