The Rajasthan Industrial Investment Corporation (RIICO) has opened e-auction allotment for more than 500 plots across industrial, commercial, residential and service categories. According to ETRajasthan, the offering spans a wide mix of uses, from factories and warehouses to housing-linked and service-oriented sites, signalling how industrial estates are increasingly being planned as mixed-use ecosystems rather than single-purpose zones. Online applications are now open and bidders can submit earnest money deposits for the relevant auctions until October 13 and 14, 2026, depending on the plot category and location.
The auction received significant interest in two plots offered at Maal ki Toos in Udaipur specifically designed to promote tourism activities, with approximately 68 entrepreneurs participating in the bidding process. As reported by RIICO officials, the establishment of tourism-based projects on these plots is expected to provide fresh momentum to investment in the state's tourism sector. Additionally, the auction attracted applications for seven logistics plots at Rabadka in Bhiwadi, three industrial plots at IGP Jayrampura in Dausa, and 32 applications for four industrial plots at Bandikui (South West Zone, Dausa).
RIICO has also begun rental allotments for plug-and-play and housing-linked facilities in multiple cities, including Jaipur, Bhiwadi-II and Udaipur. This expansion into rental services demonstrates the corporation's commitment to providing comprehensive infrastructure solutions for businesses and residents. The move is likely to draw interest from manufacturers, logistics operators, developers and service providers looking for ready access to industrial infrastructure in Rajasthan's key growth centres.
The land being offered by RIICO is initially allotted for 33 years, with the option to extend the lease twice for 33 years each. At the end of the initial 33-year lease period, a land premium of 10 per cent will have to be paid for the first 33-year renewal term and subsequently for the second 33-year renewal term, based on the prevailing allotment rate in the respective industrial area at the time of renewal. According to RIICO officials, this initiative represents a significant step towards accelerating investment, industrial development, logistics infrastructure and tourism activities in the state while facilitating easier land availability for new entrepreneurs.
RIICO has established itself as a significant catalyst for industrial development in Rajasthan, having developed 446 industrial areas by acquiring more than 102,723 acres of land. As reported on RIICO's website, the corporation has catalysed investment of around ₹9,865 crore, with RIICO's contribution to term loans at around ₹4,086 crore, and generated employment for around 1.13 lakh people. More than 42,344 industrial units are currently in production across these industrial areas, demonstrating the corporation's substantial impact on the state's industrial landscape.
