
IDFC FIRST Bank has unveiled an FD (Fixed Deposit)-backed 'Business Multiplier Metal Credit Card' specifically designed for founders, entrepreneurs and business owners. According to reports from Mint, the card is designed to support everyday operational needs and help businesses manage cash flow more efficiently. The card features a dedicated credit limit for business expenses that can be used across a wide range of business-related expenses including office supplies, digital marketing spends, SaaS subscriptions, business travel, equipment purchases, inventory procurement, international vendor payments, and employee reimbursements.
The premium metal card carries a joining fee of ₹1,000 and an annual fee of ₹1,000. As reported by Mint, the annual fee is waived upon achieving annual spends of ₹5 lakh. The card is available against a fixed deposit starting from ₹50,000. Key features include up to 45 days interest-free credit, followed by a 1% monthly interest rate for balances carried forward, zero forex markup on international transactions, and up to 10 reward points for every ₹200 spent on key business categories.
The card offers exclusive access to IDFC FIRST travel ecosystem providing 7.5% bonus rewards value-back on hotels and 4.4% on flights. According to Mint, it includes complimentary lounge access every year for domestic and international travel on minimum spends of ₹20,000 in the previous calendar month. Businesses can also pay vendors seamlessly using UPI with built-in UPI feature and gain complete visibility and control on team spending through a single consolidated statement.
As reported by Mint, the card provides pay-by rewards for all online purchases and includes a dedicated ₹25,000 'Trip Cancellation Cover' twice a year. Customers can instantly increase their credit limit by creating and linking an FD through the IDFC FIRST Bank app. The card helps businesses manage cash flow more efficiently, improve expense tracking, and build a stronger credit profile over time.
