
Waaree Energies has significantly boosted its stake in subsidiary Waaree Transpower from 64.04 percent to 75.10 percent via acquisition of 2.53 crore shares at ₹75 each, representing a ₹190 crore cash consideration. The company has also approved ₹3,900 crore capital expenditure for a glass manufacturing plant in wholly owned subsidiary Waaree Green Glass with a capacity of 2,500 TPD, funded by debt and internal accruals. Meanwhile, Sanathan Textiles' subsidiary Sanathan Polycot has entered into a Share Subscription and Shareholders' Agreement, along with a Power Supply and Consumption Agreement (PSCA), to acquire a 26 percent stake in Serentica Renewables India 33 Private Limited for sourcing renewable power as a captive consumer for a contracted capacity of 32 MW.
Ceigall India has received significant work orders worth ₹298 crore from Purvah Green Power to be executed in Andhra Pradesh, as reported by Moneycontrol News. The company has now received two additional work orders dated March 23, 2026, totaling approximately ₹298 crore. An order worth ₹119.96 crore (inclusive of GST) for supply, transportation, erection including civil work on turnkey basis for a 220 kV transmission line including the Right of Way and statutory approvals - Work Order No. 300000188. Another order worth ₹177.93 crore (inclusive of GST) for construction works for balance of plant for the 300.3 MW hybrid (wind) power project in Ralla A.P (Project) comprising 91 wind turbine generators, including construction, completion, and testing of the WTG foundations and the access roads and pathways - Work Order No. 300000187. In the energy sector, NTPC Green Energy has signed a Memorandum of Understanding with Nxtra Data for the development of renewable energy projects to supply round-the-clock renewable energy power to Nxtra Datacenters on a pan-India basis for captive consumption.
