The Government of India has announced an Offer for Sale (OFS) in NLC India Limited to divest up to 3% equity stake with a floor price of ₹303 per share. According to DIPAM Secretary Arunish Chawla, the OFS comprises a base offer of 2% equity and an additional 1% Green Shoe Option, which may be exercised in case of oversubscription. The offer will open for non-retail investors on June 9 and retail investors on June 10. The government will initially sell around 2.78 crore shares, representing 2% of the company's paid-up equity capital, with an additional 1.39 crore shares (1% stake) potentially offered under the Green Shoe Option. NLC India, a Navratna public sector enterprise under the Ministry of Coal, is engaged in lignite mining and power generation and has expanded its presence in renewable energy projects. The floor price of ₹303 per share represents a discount of 9.73% to NLC India's closing price of ₹335.65 on the BSE on Monday.
SEBI on Wednesday barred Rajesh Exports Ltd's promoter and CEO Rajesh Mehta from dealing in the company's securities, alleging large-scale misrepresentation of financial statements and diversion of funds. In a comprehensive 109-page interim order, SEBI revealed its investigation uncovered misrepresentation in financial statements as well as instances of routing and layering of funds through personal accounts and related entities without adequate disclosures or supporting documentation. The regulator also directed the company to make true and fair disclosures of its financial statements, related party transactions, and other disclosures under the Listing Obligations and Disclosure Requirements (LODR) regulations. Rajesh Exports shares fell 5% following the announcement, reflecting investor concerns over the regulatory action.
SoftBank Group sold a 3.25% stake in Lenskart Solutions for ₹2,873 crore through an open market transaction. According to latest NSE data, SoftBank, through its affiliate SVF II Lightbulb (Cayman) Ltd, offloaded 5,65,00,000 shares at an average price of ₹508.55 apiece, taking the deal value to ₹2,873.30 crore. Following the stake sale, SoftBank's holding in Lenskart dropped to 9.88% from 13.13%.
