According to PTI, globally, investors will continue to track developments surrounding geopolitical tensions in West Asia and their impact on crude oil prices and global risk sentiment. Global geopolitical developments are also likely to remain in focus after the United States carried out fresh strikes on Iran. The US Central Command said the operation followed an earlier Iranian attack in Jordan that killed two American military personnel, while another service member remains missing. Crude oil prices will be another key monitorable for investors, with oil prices jumping more than 4 per cent on Friday to their highest level in over a month as the intensifying conflict between the US and Iran raised concerns about possible supply disruptions in the Gulf region. Any signs of de-escalation could improve risk appetite and support financial markets, while further military escalation or disruptions to shipping through the Strait of Hormuz could trigger renewed volatility across global asset classes, said Ponmudi R, CEO - Enrich Money. Investor sentiment is likely to remain cautious as escalating geopolitical tensions in the Middle East continue to cloud the global risk environment, with market participants closely assessing the risk of a broader regional conflict and its potential impact on global energy supplies.
