The latest session saw continued strength in these sectors, with Nifty Bank also gaining 400.90 points (0.75%) to open at 53963.10.
Grasim Industries Ltd emerged as the top gainer, surging 3.02 percent to trade at ₹3060.70 with a volume of 0.24 lakh shares, according to ET Now. Bharat Electronics Ltd jumped 1.62 percent to trade at ₹420.00 with a volume of 1.59 lakh shares, while Larsen & Toubro Ltd gained 1.52 percent to trade at ₹3970.00 with 0.15 lakh shares traded.
