Data Patterns (India) declined 8.21% despite reporting strong quarterly results, according to Business Standard. The company's standalone net profit jumped 21.30% to ₹138.38 crore in Q4 FY26 compared to ₹114.08 crore in Q4 FY25, but revenue from operations declined 12.96% YoY to ₹344.85 crore in the quarter ended March 31, 2026. Hubtown fell 5.01% despite impressive financial performance, with consolidated net profit zooming 546.17% to ₹22.81 crore in Q4 FY26 versus ₹3.53 crore in Q4 FY25, and revenue jumping 65.37% YoY to ₹160 crore in the March 2026 quarter. Sheela Foam surged 11.90% following exceptional results, with consolidated net profit more than six-fold jump to ₹91.28 crore in Q4 FY26 compared to ₹13.08 crore in Q4 FY25, and revenue from operations rising 23.59% YoY to ₹1,050.06 crore driven by higher volume growth in mattress and foam segments.

India's trade deficit widened to $28.38 billion in April from $20.67 billion in March, as both imports and exports increased sequentially, according to the commerce ministry. Merchandise exports stood at $43.56 billion in April compared with $38.92 billion in the previous month, while imports rose to $71.94 billion from $59.59 billion. However, on a year-on-year basis, merchandise exports grew by over 13% in April, marking one of the strongest monthly performances in the past 10 years. The yield on India's 10-year benchmark federal paper jumped 0.78% to 7.076 compared with the previous session close of 7.021.
