
Nexus Fund has successfully offloaded 40 lakh shares, representing a 0.53% equity stake, in logistics major Delhivery Ltd through a block deal worth ₹186 crore. According to reports from CNBC TV18 and The Hindu BusinessLine, the transaction was executed at an average price of ₹465 per share, reflecting strong investor interest in the logistics sector. The deal involved Goldman Sachs, Morgan Stanley, Edelweiss Mutual Fund, Nippon India Mutual Fund, and Hong Kong-based Viridian Asset Management as key participants.
Morgan Stanley emerged as the largest buyer in the deal, purchasing 12 lakh shares worth ₹56 crore at the average price of ₹465 per share. As reported by CNBC TV18 and The Hindu BusinessLine, Edelweiss Mutual Fund acquired 10.75 lakh shares for ₹50 crore, demonstrating significant institutional participation in the transaction. The deal also included Goldman Sachs, Nippon India Mutual Fund, and Viridian Asia Opportunities Fund each purchasing approximately 6 lakh shares each, with these participants collectively acquiring around 18 lakh shares in the transaction.
Shares of Delhivery fell nearly 2% to close at ₹456.60 on the NSE following the block deal announcement. According to The Hindu BusinessLine, this represents the latest in a series of stake sales by Nexus Venture Partners in the logistics company. The current transaction follows Nexus Venture Partners' sale of a 1.6% stake last week for ₹530 crore and a 1.6% stake in June 2025 for ₹461 crore. In August 2024, the venture capital firm had previously sold 1.06% shares for ₹344 crore, indicating a systematic divestment strategy over multiple years.
The logistics major had reported robust financial results for the December quarter, with net profit rising 58.4% year-on-year to ₹39.6 crore. As reported by CNBC TV18, this strong performance was aided by healthy volume growth and operating leverage, providing a positive backdrop for the block deal transaction. The latest stake sale demonstrates continued investor confidence in Delhivery's operational performance and growth prospects in the competitive logistics sector.
