Among other major IT constituents, Infosys Ltd decreased 2.46% and Tata Technologies Ltd lost 1.85% on the day.
Despite today's decline, Magellanic Cloud has demonstrated strong monthly performance with a 9.01% gain over the past month, as reported by Business Standard. However, this contrasts sharply with the 2.44% decline in the BSE Information Technology index during the same period. The IT sector has significantly underperformed the broader market, with the BSE Information Technology index falling 27.84% over the last year compared to the 5.37% decline in the benchmark SENSEX. The SENSEX has shown a 2.49% rise over the same one-month period.
On the BSE, 1.11 lakh shares were traded in Magellanic Cloud counter, significantly below the average daily volumes of 3.41 lakh shares recorded over the past month, according to Business Standard. The stock has experienced notable price volatility, hitting a record high of ₹105.26 on July 17, 2025, and touching a 52-week low of ₹19.43 on March 30, 2026.
