JSW Steel Ltd emerged as the top performer, gaining 1.38% to close at ₹1,273.00 with a trading volume of 0.10 lakh shares. As reported by ET Now, UltraTech Cement Ltd followed with a 1.25% gain to ₹12,148.00, recording the highest volume of 0.01 lakh shares. HDFC Life Insurance Company Ltd gained 1.16% to ₹595.00 with 0.04 lakh shares traded. Kotak Mahindra Bank Ltd advanced 1.12% to ₹375.00 and Larsen & Toubro Ltd rose 1.09% to ₹4,058.00. Grasim Industries Ltd gained 0.97% to ₹2,766.00 with 0.01 lakh shares traded and Hindalco Industries Ltd rose 0.95% to ₹1,058.35 with 0.41 lakh shares traded.
Axis Bank Ltd led the losers, declining 2.99% to ₹1,325.00 with the highest trading volume of 1.93 lakh shares. According to ET Now, Reliance Industries Ltd fell 1.11% to ₹1,313.00 despite having the second-highest volume of 3.02 lakh shares. Tata Consumer Products Ltd dropped 0.51% to ₹1,168.00 with minimal trading activity of 0.05 lakh shares. Interglobe Aviation Ltd declined marginally by 0.02% to ₹4,522.20 with the lowest volume of 0.02 lakh shares.
