Redington shares jumped over 3% to hit a record high of ₹413.20 on Friday as Apple's latest iPhone 18 series went on sale across India. The integrated technology solutions provider, which serves as a major Apple distributor in India, has experienced remarkable growth with shares surging 74% over the past six months and 46.5% from the beginning of the year. As per Press Trust of India, the strong demand for premium iPhone models could significantly support Redington's distribution volumes and revenue growth. Electronics Mart shares also surged more than 8% to hit a record high of ₹200.87, marking the second consecutive session of gains, while Eternal touched an intraday high of ₹329.75, up 2.3%.
Apple has implemented a significant price increase for the iPhone 18 series, with prices ranging from ₹1,64,900 to ₹3,29,900 for the Pro models and ₹3 lakh to ₹4.5 lakh for the ultra-premium iPhone Duo. According to Press Trust of India, the iPhone 18 lineup carries a 20% to 43% price hike compared to its predecessor series, driven primarily by surging global memory component costs and a depreciating rupee. The iPhone Duo, positioned in the ₹3 lakh to ₹4.5 lakh price range, will compete directly with the Samsung Z Fold 8 series (₹1.79 lakh to ₹2.6 lakh) in the premium foldable segment, with analysts estimating the Duo could capture around 24% market share in this category.
Redington delivered exceptional Q1 FY27 results with consolidated profit after tax growing 77% to ₹486 crore compared to ₹275 crore in the same period last year. The company's revenue from operations increased 35% to ₹34,922 crore in the April-June period, marking the highest-ever quarterly revenue. EBITDA surged 76% to ₹707 crore with the margin expanding to 2.02% from 1.55% year-on-year. As of September 18, 2026, Redington maintains a total market capitalisation of ₹31,489.87 crore with shares trading at ₹402.8 on the NSE, gaining 0.67%.
The latest Pro models are available through multiple channels including Apple's online store, six retail outlets, select authorised third-party retailers, and quick-commerce platforms. Blinkit has listed the new iPhone models for doorstep delivery in select locations, with other platforms including Zepto and Instamart (owned by Swiggy) also offering the devices. The iPhone business alone contributes approximately 19% to Redington's total consolidated revenues, with Apple's overall portfolio accounting for just under 30% of its business. The iPhone 18 Pro starts at ₹1.65 lakh for the 256GB base model, while the iPhone 18 Pro Max starts at ₹1.80 lakh, representing a significant price increase that could impact sales volumes despite the premium positioning.
