
Shares of BSE Ltd (formerly Bombay Stock Exchange) will begin trading on the NIFTY50 index on Wednesday as part of the bi-annual index rebalancing. According to reports from The Economic Times, BSE will enter the country's benchmark index for the first time, replacing IT solutions provider Wipro. The domestic stock market is expected to open flat on Wednesday, with GIFT NIFTY futures suggesting the NIFTY50 index will open 25 points lower.
Real estate player Prestige Estates Projects Ltd has executed an agreement to sell approximately 27% equity in its subsidiary Prestige Hospitality Ventures Limited (PHVL) to CPPIB for an investment of up to ₹3,000 crore. The transaction, executed on September 29, 2026, involves an investment structured in three tranches through a combination of primary infusion and secondary purchase. The first tranche involves both the sale of existing shares by Prestige and issuance of new preference shares by PHVL, with subsequent tranches consisting solely of new share issuances. The total consideration of ₹3,000 crore will be deployed across three distinct phases, with the first tranche expected to close within 60 days subject to regulatory approvals including Competition Commission of India clearance.
The infrastructure-construction company Power Mech Projects has secured a ₹549.37 crore operation and maintenance order from Adani Group company Moxie Power Generation. According to reports from The Economic Times, the scope of work includes providing complete operation and maintenance services at 2x600 MW Moxie Power Generation Ltd. Tuticorin TPP. The contract period shall be of five years, effective October 1.
Pumps and valves maker KSB has secured a significant export order worth ₹118 crore from Dangote Projects Free Zone Enterprise for the supply of boiler feed pump package. As reported by The Economic Times, the order reinforces KSB's strong capabilities in delivering high-efficiency, engineered pumping solutions for critical process applications and further strengthens its presence in the international fertilizer and energy sectors.
