The company delivered impressive financial results with standalone revenue from operations rising 29% year-on-year to ₹486 crore in Q1 FY27 compared to ₹377.8 crore in the corresponding quarter last year. As reported by CNBC TV18, same-store sales growth (SSSG) stood at 7% during the quarter, while sales per square foot increased 2% year-on-year to ₹679 per month from ₹663 a year earlier. The company noted that revenue figures for Q1 FY27 are subject to limited review by its statutory auditors.
Baazar Style Retail significantly expanded its retail footprint during the quarter, with the store network increasing 19% to 276 stores as of June 30, 2026, compared to 232 stores a year earlier. According to CNBC TV18, the total retail area grew 22% year-on-year to 25.8 lakh square feet from 21.17 lakh square feet. During the quarter, the company opened 18 new stores while closing 5 stores, demonstrating its strategic approach to network optimization, resulting in a net addition of 13 stores for the quarter.
