Investors must own the shares before the respective ex-date to be eligible for these benefits, with the record dates aligned for swift distribution of funds to eligible shareholders. To be eligible for these payouts, investors must be mindful of the ex-dividend date, which is the day the share price adjusts to reflect the upcoming dividend. Under India's T+1 settlement cycle, shares purchased on the record date itself will not qualify for the dividend payment.
The week's highest dividend payouts are led by Abbott India declaring the highest payout of ₹656 per share (₹525 final + ₹131 special), followed by Hawkins Cookers at ₹140 per share and ICRA at ₹35 per share (₹70 final + ₹35 special). Bharti Airtel offers ₹24 per share with July 24 as the record date, while Hero MotoCorp provides ₹75 per share with July 24 as the record date. Pidilite Industries delivers ₹11.50 per share with July 23 as the record date, and Divi's Laboratories offers ₹30 per share with July 24 as the record date. 3M India has announced the highest overall payout, comprising a final dividend of ₹160 per share and a special dividend of ₹346 per share, totaling ₹506 per share. 3M is followed by MRF at ₹229 per share, while Honeywell Automation India has declared ₹110 per share and Pfizer ₹75 per share.
