
Five Adani Group companies achieved remarkable milestones on Wednesday, with Adani Total Gas surging 7% to ₹765.80, marking a 25% gain in the past week. According to reports from Business Standard, Adani Energy Solutions and Adani Green Energy both climbed 4% each, with the former trading at ₹1,516.75 and the latter at ₹1,517.80. In the past four trading days, these stocks rallied 13% and 12% respectively. The strong performance occurred despite the BSE Sensex declining 0.17% to 75,881 during the same period.
In a significant development, Adani Power has surpassed Infosys in market capitalisation ranking, achieving a ₹4.77 trillion market cap compared to Infosys's ₹4.69 trillion. As reported by Business Standard, Adani Power now stands at 11th position in the overall BSE market capitalisation ranking, while Infosys has slipped to 12th position. The stock hit a new high of ₹250.35, gaining 2% in intra-day trading, with a remarkable 67% surge in 2026 so far. In contrast, Infosys has declined 29% and the BSE Sensex has fallen nearly 11% during the same period.
According to Business Standard reports, Adani Power's fourth quarter performance was particularly robust, with EBITDA of ₹6,498 crore, marking a 27% year-over-year increase. The company's management indicated that FY27 is expected to see strong growth in overall power demand and peak demand, with higher Power Purchase Agreement offtake and stronger bilateral demand anticipated. The management noted good revival in power demand from March as warmer weather arrived, with peak demand reaching 256 gigawatts and expected to rise further in the current year.
Global brokerage Bernstein indicated that the worst may be over for Adani Group, as concerns around leverage, share pledges and overseas funding access have eased significantly after resolving recent US-related legal overhangs. As reported by Business Standard, SBI Mutual Fund recently acquired nearly 0.5% equity stake worth ₹1,435 crore in Adani Enterprises through open market transactions. Additionally, Adani Enterprises entered into an agreement with the US Department of Treasury's Office of Foreign Assets Control by paying $275 million to settle potential civil liability for apparent violations of OFAC sanctions on Iran.

Adani Enterprises management indicated during Q4 earnings that the company is preparing for value unlocking through demergers, with independent, sector-leading businesses across airports, roads, Adani New Industries ecosystem and long-term contracted mine development operator services ready for value creation mode.
