Veteran fund manager Prashant Jain-owned 3P Investment Managers has acquired 2.5 percent stake in Entero Healthcare Solutions, the healthcare product distribution and supply chain platform, through bulk deals on August 24, 2026. According to BSE block-deal data, 3P India Equity Fund 1 and 3P India Equity Fund 1M, the schemes owned by 3P Investment, purchased 10.88 lakh shares for ₹150.04 crore at a price of ₹1,377.80 per share. The acquisition was completed by acquiring all shares from Prasid Uno Family Trust, with the transaction reducing the trust's holding from 10.45% to 7.95%. As of June 2026, Surbhi Singh (Prasid Uno Family Trust) held 45.5 lakh shares, representing a 10.45% stake in Entero Healthcare before the latest transaction.
Recent financial results demonstrate Entero Healthcare's robust growth trajectory, with the company reporting consolidated net sales of ₹1,940.50 crore for Q1 June 2026, representing a significant 38.23% year-on-year growth. The company's consolidated net profit rose 37.27% to ₹38.16 crore in the same quarter, compared to Q1 June 2025. The company's standalone net sales reached ₹78.93 crore in March 2026, marking a 9.17% increase compared to the previous year. Latest Q1 results show EBITDA rising 94% year-on-year to ₹97 crore, with EBITDA margin expanding to 5% from 3.6% in the corresponding quarter last year. These strong financial metrics support the positive market response to the recent stake acquisition.
The market responded positively to the block deal, with Entero Healthcare shares jumping 9% to ₹1,661.80 on Tuesday (August 25), bringing the total gain to 16.17% over four consecutive sessions. At Tuesday's intraday high, the stock was trading more than 20% above the price at which 3P acquired its stake the previous day. The stock has demonstrated strong momentum with gains of 31.11% in the past one month, 19.47% in the past three months and 31.57% over the past year. As reported, the stock reached closer to its record high intraday and has been in an uptrend since the start of this calendar year despite intermittent corrections. Entero Healthcare Solutions operates in the business of distribution and marketing of pharmaceutical products, surgical products and other allied services.
Entero Healthcare outlined significant growth potential in the MedTech segment, citing the large and growing market with synergies to its pharmaceutical distribution business. The company sees significant consolidation potential in the MedTech segment, with distributors playing a high value-add role and having a higher margin profile than distributors in the pharmaceutical market. The company's existing MedTech business and acquisitions focus on the IVD and Cardiology/Orthopaedic devices segments, which it described as large and high-growth opportunities.
The bulk deal activity reflects continued institutional interest in healthcare and technology sectors, with Entero Healthcare's strong financial performance providing a positive backdrop for the acquisition. Multiple reports indicate that the healthcare sector has been attracting significant institutional attention, with Entero Healthcare's robust growth metrics and strategic expansion into high-growth MedTech segments supporting investor confidence in the sector's prospects. The sharp market reaction suggests investors were taking cues from the entry of 3P Investment Managers, though the block purchase itself doesn't change Entero Healthcare's underlying business or finances.
