
According to data from Ace Equity, 19 companies in the NIFTY500 index have delivered exceptional financial performance in the first quarter of the current financial year. These companies achieved revenue growth of over 50% and net profit growth of 100% during the April-June period. The standout performers include Hitachi Energy, Eternal, Netweb Technologies, Vedanta, Chennai Petroleum, HFCL, Jio Financial Services, Neuland Laboratories, Hindustan Zinc, Mangalore Refinery and Petrochemicals, OFSS, and Syrma SGS Technology.
As reported by Ace Equity, Hitachi Energy delivered exceptional results with net profit of ₹294 crore in the April-June period, marking an upside of 123% from ₹132 crore in the same period last year. The company's revenue from operations rose 69% to ₹2,494 crore from ₹1,479 crore year-earlier. The Bengaluru-based company reported strong operational performance with EBITDA rising 135% to ₹364 crore and EBITDA margin improving by 4.1 percentage points to 14.58% at the end of June quarter. The company attributed this growth to surge in electrification driven by transport, manufacturing, digital infrastructure, and clean energy industry.
According to Ace Equity data, Eternal (formerly known as Zomato) reported a 268% rise in net profit to ₹92 crore in the June quarter of FY27, compared to ₹25 crore in the corresponding quarter last fiscal. The company's consolidated revenue from operations stood at ₹20,211 crore against ₹7,167 crore in the year-ago period, with sequential revenue growth of 16.88%. At the operational level, EBITDA surged 416.52% to ₹594 crore from ₹115 crore year-ago, with EBITDA margin at 2.94% versus 1.69% previously.
As reported by Ace Equity, Netweb Technologies, the country's leading AI-related services provider, demonstrated strong growth with net profit surging 180% to ₹85 crore from ₹30 crore in the corresponding period last year. The company's sales surged 172.13% to ₹819.68 crore in Q1 FY27, with sequential profit growth of 20.87% and revenue growth of 5.94%. The company's income from AI systems stood at ₹510.57 crore, up 484.20% year-on-year over Q1 FY26. RR Kabel, the leading wires and cables maker, also reported strong performance with net profit of ₹205 crore, marking an increase of 129% from ₹90 crore year-earlier.
According to latest market data, the SENSEX advanced as much as 0.2% to hit an intraday high of 78,676.98 on August 10, while the NIFTY50 grew as much as 0.2% to touch the session's peak of 24,620.95. Hitachi Energy India shares rallied as much as 10.7% to hit the session's peak of ₹36,075 per equity share, as its net profit surged 123% to ₹294 crore from ₹132 crore in the same period last year. Titan Company stock climbed as much as 3.7% to hit its all-time high level of ₹5,122.20 per equity share after reporting a 63% jump in consolidated net profit to ₹1,777 crore for Q1 FY27. However, Ola Electric Mobility shares declined as much as 5.4% to hit an intraday low of ₹38.85 apiece despite reducing Q1 FY27 losses to ₹336 crore from ₹428 crore year-earlier.
