For the week, FIIs remained net sellers, pulling out ₹4,004.09 crore cumulatively over five trading sessions. The Friday session saw FIIs buy shares worth ₹13,337.33 crore and sell equities worth ₹11,982 crore, resulting in the net inflow.
Domestic Institutional Investors (DIIs) turned net sellers on Friday for the first time in two weeks, offloading equities worth ₹1,953.89 crore, as reported by CNBC TV18. This marked a significant shift from their supportive role in the previous session when they recorded net purchases of ₹1,784.40 crore on Thursday. For the week, DIIs remained net buyers with cumulative inflows of ₹10,649.20 crore, despite Friday's outflow. The Friday session saw DIIs purchase shares worth ₹18,676.35 crore but sell ₹20,630.24 crore worth of equities, leading to the net outflow. This was the first instance of DIIs turning net sellers since June 19, when they had offloaded equities worth ₹1,159.64 crore.
