Sun Pharmaceutical Industries hit a new high of ₹2,011.15, up 1% in intra-day deals, as reported by Business Standard. The stock has rallied 27% from its calendar year 2026 low of ₹1,583.60 touched in January 2026. Sun Pharma received approval from the Brazilian Health Regulatory Agency (ANVISA) to manufacture and market semaglutide injection in Brazil for treating adults with inadequately controlled type 2 diabetes mellitus. The company plans to launch the product in partnership with Hypera Pharma, targeting the $413 million semaglutide injectable market in Brazil.
Redington emerged as the standout performer, hitting a new high of ₹338.20, surging 18% amid heavy volume. According to Business Standard, a combined 40.94 million equity shares representing 5.23% of total equity changed hands on the NSE and BSE. For the April to June 2026 quarter, Redington reported strong results with revenue at ₹34,966 crore, up 34% year-on-year. Profit after tax jumped 77% YoY at ₹486 crore, while EBITDA margins improved to 2.15% versus 1.73% in Q1FY26.
TVS Motor also achieved a new high of ₹4,184, soaring 3% in intra-day deals, as reported by Business Standard. The stock has surged 20% in the past month, significantly outperforming the BSE Sensex's 1.6% rise. Management expects TVS Motor to continue outperforming the domestic two-wheeler industry in FY27, driven by premium motorcycles, scooters, electric vehicles, export growth, and new product launches. The planned ₹3,500 crore capex and capacity expansion will support future growth, with analysts maintaining a 'BUY' rating and target price of ₹4,235.
Other notable performers included Manappuram Finance, Marico, Nestle India, Radico Khaitan, Redington, Welspun Corp, and TVS Motor Company, all touching new all-time highs, according to Business Standard. Radico Khaitan hit a new high of ₹4,494.75, surging 3% for the fifth straight day, while Marico and Nestle India also participated in the rally. The selective nature of the gains highlights strong company-specific fundamentals driving these individual stock performances despite the broader market's subdued performance.
