South Korean crypto exchange Upbit announced on July 31 that it would list Conflux's CFX token against the Korean won, Bitcoin and Tether. According to the official notice published at 14:00 KST, trading is scheduled to begin at 16:00 KST with three CFX pairs opening against KRW, Bitcoin and Tether. The exchange displayed CFX at 58.25 won, 0.00000062 BTC and 0.04044 USDT at 13:30 KST, using CoinMarketCap data to establish reference prices. Upbit will block buy orders for approximately five minutes after trading begins and restrict sell orders priced more than 10% below the previous closing price during the same period.
CFX demonstrated strong momentum ahead of the Upbit listing, trading near $0.0452 before the scheduled opening, representing an 8.5% increase over 24 hours. As reported by the exchange, the token's daily trading volume reached approximately $13 million, up about 93%, while its market capitalization stood near $212-213 million at the time of the listing announcement. The price moved between approximately $0.0403 and $0.0455 during the period, though trading had not yet started on Upbit when these figures were recorded. Past Upbit listings have produced mixed market reactions, with some listings raising early volume but initial price gains not always continuing.
Upbit will support CFX deposits and withdrawals only through Conflux eSpace, with users sending tokens through Core Space or other unsupported networks potentially needing to complete lengthy recovery processes. According to the exchange, deposits and withdrawals were expected to open within 90 minutes through Conflux eSpace, though the trading launch may be delayed if the exchange cannot secure enough liquidity. The exchange emphasized that users must comply with South Korea's travel-rule requirements and use verified personal wallet addresses.
This simultaneous three-pair launch is unusual and signals strong confidence in CFX's liquidity potential, providing Korean traders with direct KRW access to CFX and enhancing liquidity through arbitrage across pairs. Conflux Network is notable for being China's only regulatory-compliant public blockchain, offering a unique position for blockchain activity targeting the Chinese market. The exchange's decision to launch three pairs simultaneously rather than starting with a single base pair demonstrates meaningful conviction in CFX's liquidity potential. The listing gives CFX direct access to Upbit's KRW market alongside its BTC and USDT markets, providing local users with the ability to trade CFX without converting funds into another crypto asset.
Conflux has been actively preparing for this listing with significant infrastructure improvements. The network integrated support for the Infini stablecoin on July 6, 2026, and brought on Fireblocks for institutional custody starting in June 2026. Fireblocks is one of the most widely used institutional digital asset infrastructure providers, and its involvement signals that Conflux is actively courting enterprise-grade capital. The Conflux 3.0 upgrade, anticipated in August 2026, targets transaction throughput of 15,000 transactions per second, creating a sequence of major developments that the market will be watching closely. The timing of the major exchange listing at the end of July, followed by the significant protocol upgrade in August, positions Conflux for enhanced market visibility and technical capabilities.
