According to the State of TRON Q3 2026 ecosystem report, TRON surpassed $30 trillion in cumulative transaction volume during the third quarter of 2026, marking another significant milestone for the network. The blockchain infrastructure continues to serve as essential infrastructure for stablecoin settlement and digital-asset transfers, with the network maintaining steady transaction activity throughout the reporting period.
As reported in the quarterly report, stablecoin settlement reached $2.21 trillion in Q3 2026, with average daily volume rising 3.9% from Q2 to $24.05 billion. The stablecoin ecosystem continued expanding with USDT and USDD supply reaching $93.88 billion, up 5.5% from Q2. TRON attracted $633.6 million in stablecoin supply during a seven-day period, significantly outpacing OP Mainnet's $64 million influx, highlighting continued capital flow preference. USDT currently represents nearly 98% of TRON's stablecoin base at approximately $93.1 billion out of $95.2 billion, demonstrating the network's dominant position in stablecoin payments.
According to the report, network fee generation moderated during Q3, with fees totaling $701.4 million and averaging $7.62 million per day, down 4.0% from Q2. The average daily transaction fee fell from $0.668 to $0.643. Despite the fee decline, the network maintained steady transaction activity while expanding its user base significantly. Average daily USDT transfers over the last 30 days stood at $24 billion, with daily volumes fluctuating between $10 billion to $32 billion. Over 1 million user accounts are initiating new transfers every day and generate up to 2.5 million new events per day, supporting sustained activity across exchanges, remittances, and merchant payments.
As detailed in the report, TRON DAO expanded its ecosystem collaborations significantly in Q3 2026, adding institutional custody and staking services through Anchorage Digital, Bitnomial, Backpack, Ethena, and Ducat. The network also introduced the Canary Staked TRX ETF (TRXS) on September 9, 2026, providing investors exposure to TRX spot price alongside passive net staking rewards. New payment and wallet integrations included MoonPay for gasless transactions through Trust Wallet, Bitcoin.com Wallet for native TRX and USDT-TRC20 support, and MetaMask connectivity across multiple platforms including B.AI, SUN.io, JustLend DAO, and BitTorrent. Fireblocks Flow added support for payments from TRON wallets, while Eco and STON.fi expanded cross-chain stablecoin connectivity and KiiChain linked TRON assets with its 24/7 foreign-exchange infrastructure.
According to the report, TRON DAO rang the Cboe Closing Bell in Chicago on September 29 to celebrate the launch of the Canary Staked TRX ETF. The quarter's developments underscore continued growth in stablecoin settlement, liquidity, network activity, and ecosystem infrastructure, with the network maintaining its position as the global settlement layer for stablecoin transactions. As of October 2026, TRON hosts the largest circulating supply of USD Tether (USDT) stablecoin, which currently exceeds $94 billion, with over 408 million total user accounts and more than 15 billion total transactions recorded on the network. With these trends strengthening and USDT's dominance at nearly 98% of TRON's stablecoin base, the network enters Q4 with an increasingly established role in global stablecoin settlement and digital asset activity.
