STONK crypto experienced a significant 18% surge in 24 hours at press time, as reported by AMBCrypto. The rally was primarily driven by the launch of Netflix-paired tokens, marking a major development for the Solana ecosystem launchpad. Despite the strong performance, STONK continues to climb higher in the ranks of top platforms by revenue in the Solana ecosystem, outpacing its biggest competitor Pump.fun in daily gains.
The platform's trading momentum was fueled by substantial volume increases across both markets. According to AMBCrypto reports, trading volume reached $229 million, representing a 185% increase from the previous day. Derivatives markets showed the most significant growth with 113% volume spike, while Open Interest rose correspondingly. This surge in activity demonstrates increased user engagement and market confidence in the platform's capabilities.
STONK generated over $1.163 million in daily revenue, with the platform allocating more than $703K toward buying back 2.75 million STONK tokens, as detailed by AMBCrypto. These tokens were subsequently burned, representing 0.275% of total supply. Over the past seven days, the platform has burned 189.92 million STONK tokens worth $50.996 million, while simultaneously buying back $17.37 million worth of tokens. This aggressive buyback strategy has resulted in 1.30% of total supply being burned over the seven-day period.
From a technical perspective, STONK is currently trading around resistance levels with price action respecting an ascending trendline support. As reported by AMBCrypto, the token has successfully bounced off this support level five times since mid-August, with the current attempt being the sixth occurrence. The critical support zone at around $0.25 will determine whether the token maintains its upward trajectory or faces potential downside pressure. However, some altcoins like Zcash have broken similar trendline support despite whale accumulation, suggesting the bounce is not guaranteed.
Technical indicators present mixed signals for STONK's near-term performance. According to AMBCrypto analysis, the Chaikin Money Flow (CMF) dropped from 0.14 to -0.23, indicating capital outflows from the ecosystem token. However, the Choppiness Index (CHOP) is declining, suggesting the trend is becoming clearer and stronger. If STONK loses the current support level and stays below it, the token could retest demand zones at $0.15 or $0.10. Conversely, maintaining support could lead to a rally toward the all-time high of $0.40.
