STABLE skyrocketed 16% to a 2-month high of $0.0419 as the altcoin finally broke out after a period of weakness. According to reports from AMBCrypto, the altcoin flipped the $0.04 resistance level and was trading around $0.0417 after the surge. Over the same period, STABLE's market cap rose 16%, reclaiming the $1 billion mark. The trading volume reversed course after a week-long decline, rising 3% to reflect steady capital flows into the network.
The primary catalyst for STABLE's surge was the launch of StableSwap on the Stable network on July 22nd, according to official X accounts reported by AMBCrypto. The native DEX was touted to offer deep liquidity, efficient routing, and seamless stable asset trading. Network traffic skyrocketed shortly after the launch, with over 167,000 transactions processed in 24 hours. The surge was driven by the launch of the Fefer memecoin, which surged past $11 million in market cap. After the spike in volume, the Stable protocol initiated critical infrastructure upgrades to maintain high-velocity execution.
With the price pump, traders rushed to position themselves, fearing they would miss out on the momentum. As reported by AMBCrypto, derivatives volume climbed 158% to $38.9 million, while Open Interest jumped 28% to $27.3 million. According to CoinGlass data, Futures inflows rose to $11.7 million while outflows dropped to $10.6 million, resulting in Futures netflow climbing 526% to $1.05 million. The rising volume and Open Interest indicated increased participation as traders opened new positions with significant capital flow into these positions.
STABLE's technical indicators suggest strong momentum continuation. According to AMBCrypto analysis, the Relative Strength Index (RSI) formed a bullish crossover and rose to 66, showing buyers had significant hold of the market. The Stochastic Momentum Index also formed a bullish crossover and climbed to 12, confirming the upside momentum. If network usage for Stable continues to rise, the altcoin will likely flip $0.043 and eye a move above $0.05. However, if speculation fades, the altcoin is likely to drop sharply toward $0.035.
The token deployment significantly increased network usage, resulting in higher demand for STABLE tokens. As reported by AMBCrypto, knownXd observed that Feferz launched as the first NFT on the network, while the FINNY memecoin also launched. Projects started bridging to the stable network, with the memecoin frenzy pushing transactions to 167,000 and creating substantial network activity that supported the altcoin's price momentum.
