Three spot HYPE ETFs have achieved a significant milestone, with cumulative trading volume approaching $900 million since their debut approximately one month ago. According to reports from The Block, the three products from different issuers have demonstrated strong early market interest. The ETFs offer regulated brokerage exposure to HYPE, a token that distinguishes itself from speculative assets through its 97% trading fee allocation to the Assistance Fund, creating an automatic buyback mechanism that links trading volume directly to token demand.
The three ETFs are distributed across three major issuers: THYP from 21Shares, BHYP from Bitwise, and HYPG from Grayscale. As reported by The Block, volume distribution has been uneven, with BHYP and THYP accounting for the bulk of trading activity while the newer HYPG continues to ramp up its operations. All three products hold HYPE directly and pass staking rewards to investors, with the current reward rate sitting at approximately 2.25% annually.
According to The Block's analysis, net inflows have reached $153 million across the three products since launch. The staking mechanism operates with approximately 45% of eligible supply currently staked, representing approximately 434 million HYPE tokens. The staking rewards are accrued every minute, distributed daily, and automatically compounded, providing investors with regular passive income from their HYPE holdings.
As reported by The Block, sustained ETF inflows at the current pace would represent a meaningful demand signal for institutional appetite for Hyperliquid. However, the publication notes that months two and three will provide a more reliable gauge of conviction than the launch-window volume data. Meanwhile, the broader cryptocurrency ETF market continues to show strength, with U.S. spot Bitcoin ETFs approaching the $2 trillion cumulative trading volume milestone despite mounting outflows.
