According to reports from crypto.news, Zama has successfully listed its native ZAMA token on Revolut across the European Economic Area, providing the privacy-focused blockchain project access to a fintech platform serving more than 70 million customers. The listing gives ZAMA exposure to over 15 million Revolut customers who already use the app for cryptocurrency trading, while allowing existing users to purchase the token without opening additional accounts or completing extra identity checks.
As reported by crypto.news, trading fees start at zero through Revolut's main app, with users able to buy and hold ZAMA alongside other supported assets. For those preferring self-custody, users can withdraw the token from Revolut to external wallets, as Revolut supports onchain cryptocurrency transfers in the EEA region. The listing places the asset inside existing Revolut accounts that customers may already use for banking, payments, and crypto trading, eliminating the need to register with separate crypto exchanges.
According to crypto.news, Zama develops blockchain confidentiality infrastructure using fully homomorphic encryption (FHE), which allows computations to occur on encrypted information without exposing underlying data. The technology keeps blockchain balances, transactions, and financial positions encrypted while smart contracts continue processing data. ZAMA co-founder and CEO Rand Hindi stated that privacy is expected everywhere else in financial lives, but onchain users haven't been able to have it until now.
As reported by crypto.news, ZAMA's recent confidential DeFi deployments include work with Steakhouse Financial to introduce the Steakhouse Confidential Prime USDC vault on Ethereum in June. By July 16, deposits had reached $23.23 million, making the product the eighth-largest USDC vault across Morpho V1 and V2 on Ethereum. The company also acquired TokenOps in May, adding infrastructure for encrypted token distributions and institutional token operations.
According to crypto.news, the Revolut listing follows ZAMA's February token launch through a sealed-bid Dutch auction on Ethereum that protected more than $121 million through FHE technology. The company raised $57 million in a Series B funding round in June 2025, bringing total reported funding to $130 million and achieving a $1 billion fully diluted valuation. ZAMA's work on blockchain privacy predates the token launch, with its Series A round raising $73 million for FHE infrastructure development.
