Ondo Finance has achieved a significant milestone by becoming the first tokenization company to enter DTCC's Fund/SERV network. According to the latest announcement from PRNewswire, Ondo Finance's subsidiary Oasis Pro Markets, a U.S. registered broker-dealer and distributor of tokenized investment products, has joined Fund/SERV as a member, giving it access to infrastructure that processes more than 85% of domestic mutual fund transaction volume in the United States. This connection provides Oasis Pro with a standardized route to fund companies, wealth platforms and other service providers already connected to Fund/SERV, eliminating the need for separate technical connections for each distributor. As reported by AMBCrypto, this membership gives Ondo direct access to one of the largest networks of mutual fund distributors in the United States, representing a significant step toward mainstream fund technology adoption.
Through Fund/SERV membership, Oasis Pro can process multiple parts of a fund transaction within the same system, supporting transaction confirmations, reconciliation and distributions, while account records, tax information and regulatory reports can move through the infrastructure. As reported by PRNewswire, this standardized connection allows Oasis Pro to reach multiple companies without building new integrations for each firm, reducing operational complexity. The network also provides omnibus account support, enabling institutions, registered investment advisers and retirement accounts to access tokenized securities through financial firms they already use. According to Talia Klein, Managing Director and Head of Wealth & Investment Solutions at DTCC, "As financial markets continue to evolve, interoperability between traditional infrastructure and digital asset ecosystems will be critical to achieving scale and broad market adoption." As noted by AMBCrypto, this operational access could help Ondo distribute tokenized funds through established channels and test broader institutional demand across established U.S. fund channels.
The Fund/SERV membership builds on Ondo's earlier involvement with DTCC, as reported by PRNewswire. In June, Ondo joined a DTCC tokenization working group alongside more than 50 financial companies, including BlackRock, Goldman Sachs, JPMorgan, Nasdaq, NYSE, Robinhood and Circle. DTCC formed this group to test operational and technical processes for tokenizing assets held at the Depository Trust Company, with an SEC no-action letter in December 2025 authorizing DTC to operate the defined tokenization service for three years. DTCC planned limited production transactions for July 2026 and a full launch in October. According to Ian De Bode, Acting CEO & President of Ondo Finance, "We're excited to be the first tokenization platform to become part of Fund/SERV, establishing a direct connection between tokenized funds and traditional fund distributors through DTCC. Through a single standardized connection, Odo's subsidiary Oasis Pro Markets can transact with fund companies, wealth platforms, and service providers without requiring separate integrations. A key piece of infrastructure is now in place for tokenized funds to scale to mainstream adoption."
Ondo Finance currently demonstrates significant market presence with $2.6 billion in distributed asset value for its tokenized products and $3.5 billion in total on-platform presence with over 100,000 holders, according to RWA data cited by AMBCrypto. The company's Ondo US Dollar Yield [USDY] maintains approximately $2.2 billion in value with about 18,000 holders. This existing scale provides a useful baseline for evaluating the impact of the new DTCC distribution channels. However, these figures largely reflect activity before the new distribution link, making future data crucial for determining if DTCC connectivity translates into broader market participation.
Oasis Pro Markets operates as an SEC-registered broker-dealer and alternative trading system and is a member of the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority and the Securities Investor Protection Corporation. According to PRNewswire, in July, Oasis Pro received FINRA authorizations covering tokenized corporate equities and fund products for U.S. institutions and retail investors. The permissions support over-the-counter retail transactions, underwritten primary offerings, private placements and secondary trading, covering National Market System equities and interests in ETFs, mutual funds and index funds.
The key question now shifts from access to measurable investor activity, with future data needed to determine if DTCC-enabled transaction channels will continue affecting investor behavior. According to AMBCrypto, rising subscription volumes would indicate fresh demand, while higher redemption activity would reveal how investors manage positions. Stronger secondary turnover could signal deeper liquidity beyond initial purchases, while holder growth would add another measure of adoption. Post-membership flows will provide the clearest test of whether distributor-sourced capital grows consistently, demonstrating that DTCC connectivity is translating infrastructure access into broader market participation. If capital flows from distributors increase consistently, Ondo can demonstrate that the new distribution channels are driving measurable institutional adoption of tokenized funds.
