Securitize has officially announced that Hamilton Lane's tokenized Senior Credit Opportunities Fund (HLSCOPE) is now live on the TRON blockchain, marking the first Securitize-issued asset to operate on the network. According to Blockster, the tokenization platform behind more than $4 billion in tokenized assets has brought one of the industry's most established tokenized private credit products to a blockchain that has quietly become one of the largest settlement layers in digital assets. The fund provides qualified investors with exposure to Hamilton Lane's opportunistic senior credit strategy through a regulated feeder structure managed by Securitize, with the platform leveraging its official interoperability partner, Wormhole, to enable HLSCOPE tokens to move across blockchain ecosystems.
HLSCOPE, which was launched in 2023, currently manages approximately ₹35.5 crore ($4.28 million) in assets under management and advertises a 5.87% annual return. As reported by The Block, the onchain fund is currently available on Ethereum mainnet, Polygon, Plume, and Optimism networks, with some cross-chain functionality via Wormhole. The fund's expansion to TRON will bring it in front of 383 million accounts, significantly expanding its reach in the private credit market. The listing leverages TRON's over 383 million accounts, approximately $90 billion in stablecoin circulation, and trillions of dollars in annual transfer volume to provide enhanced accessibility for accredited investors. Private credit has emerged as one of the fastest-growing categories within the tokenization sector as asset managers look for ways to make traditionally illiquid investment products more accessible through blockchain infrastructure.
The launch comes after the Securities and Exchange Commission dropped its case against TRON founder Justin Sun and several related companies with prejudice, meaning the case cannot be refiled. According to The Block, the SEC had sued Sun and three firms in March 2023, alleging unregistered securities offerings and market manipulation. Rainberry Inc., the corporate parent for the BitTorrent network, agreed to pay a ₹80 crore ($10 million) civil penalty for wash trading violations. This regulatory resolution has enabled crypto firms to embrace TRON, which is one of the most active blockchains by volume, driven primarily by stablecoin activity. For Securitize, the launch represents another step toward expanding the distribution of real-world assets beyond Ethereum-centric ecosystems and into blockchain networks already processing significant global capital flows.
Securitize CEO Carlos Domingo emphasized the strategic importance of the launch, stating that "Bringing HLSCOPE to TRON marks an important milestone not only because it is the first Securitize asset launching on the network, but because it expands access to private markets through infrastructure designed for continuous, global financial activity. This is another step toward a more connected and interoperable onchain financial system." As reported by Blockster, the move brings one of the industry's most established tokenized private credit products to a blockchain that has quietly become one of the largest settlement layers in digital assets. Justin Sun, founder of TRON, said "Welcoming Securitize and HLSCOPE into the TRON ecosystem is a significant step in connecting traditional finance with blockchain infrastructure. TRON supports fast, efficient and scalable global settlement. We believe tokenized real-world assets will play a major role in the future of global finance, and reliable blockchain infrastructure will be critical." The HLSCOPE launch on TRON marks an important milestone for expanding access to private markets through infrastructure designed for continuous, global financial activity, demonstrating how regulatory clarity can drive institutional adoption of blockchain-based investment products.
