Bybit has officially launched trading in over 1,000 US stocks and ETFs for eligible global users, as announced on October 12. According to the company's announcement shared with crypto.news, the service covers major US companies including Apple (AAPL), Nvidia (NVDA), Tesla (TSLA), and Micron Technology (MU), along with funds such as the Invesco QQQ ETF (QQQ). The platform allows customers to purchase securities using USDC directly from their exchange accounts, with fractional shares, zero commissions and 24/5 trading available. As reported by PRNewswire, eligible users in permitted jurisdictions who have completed the required KYC verification can trade supported U.S. stocks and ETFs using USDC, bringing equity exposure into the same environment used for digital assets.
The service offers 24/5 trading coverage across US premarket, regular and after-hours sessions, though availability may vary by security. As reported by crypto.news, customers can buy and sell supported stocks and ETFs using USDC from their Bybit accounts, with fractional shares available for eligible securities. The platform charges zero commissions on eligible stock purchases and sales, and supports corporate actions including cash dividends, stock dividends and stock splits. According to PRNewswire, unlike price derivatives or synthetic instruments, stocks trading gives eligible users an economic interest in the underlying securities they purchase, unlike synthetic instruments that only track price movements. The service is available to users who have completed Identity Verification Level 2 or Business Verification Level 2 in accordance with Bybit's Terms of Service and Privacy Policy, with product availability varying by jurisdiction due to local regulatory requirements.
Bybit is developing mStocks in collaboration with Mantle, with a targeted launch in November. The tokenized stock product is designed to be backed 1:1 by real stocks, with plans to support round-the-clock conversion between eligible stocks and mStocks on Bybit, as well as decentralized exchange trading through automated market maker (AMM) liquidity pools on Mantle. Converted mStocks are also expected to be transferable into Bybit's Unified Trading Account (UTA) for use as trading collateral, subject to applicable terms and conditions. Bybit launched IPO Express in June, giving eligible users access to selected IPO opportunities at the offering price through tokenized representations of the underlying securities, with the service launching initially with SpaceX and designed to extend access beyond secondary-market trading into selected primary-market opportunities.
Bybit Stocks is provided by Infra Capital Limited, an introducing broker regulated by the Financial Services Commission of Mauritius under license GB23202169. The exchange, which serves more than 80 million users worldwide, already offers cryptocurrency spot and derivatives trading, traditional market access through MetaTrader 5, tokenized equities and TradFi perpetual contracts. Shareholder voting rights are planned for a future phase, while certain corporate actions may face restrictions at launch. According to PRNewswire, the addition of stock services adds to the exchange's growing range of products across traditional and digital markets, with Bybit positioning itself as The New Financial Platform that connects users to global finance opportunities through AI-powered technology, deep global liquidity, and transparent operations. The service represents Bybit's continued expansion beyond traditional crypto trading into comprehensive financial markets, with the company believing that the next chapter of finance is one where the walls between crypto and traditional markets no longer exist.
