US-listed spot Bitcoin exchange-traded funds recorded their seventh consecutive day of net inflows on April 23, according to crypto.news data. The products added $335.8 million on the day, extending a strong run that started in mid-April. Over the full seven-day period, the funds brought in approximately $1.9 billion, demonstrating sustained institutional and retail interest in Bitcoin exposure through regulated investment vehicles.
BlackRock's iShares Bitcoin Trust ETF (IBIT) captured the largest share of the latest inflow streak, attracting approximately $1.4 billion during the seven trading sessions. As reported by crypto.news, IBIT now holds about 809,870 Bitcoin, giving it roughly 62% of the total assets held by US-listed spot Bitcoin ETFs. The fund's performance demonstrates BlackRock's continued dominance in the Bitcoin ETF market cycle, with investors moving capital into regulated Bitcoin products.
While BlackRock led the inflow streak, performance varied across different Bitcoin ETF products. According to crypto.news data, the Morgan Stanley Bitcoin Trust (MSBT) posted $95 million in inflows during the seven-day period and has recorded about $163 million in net inflows since its launch on April 8. In contrast, the Grayscale Bitcoin Trust ETF (GBTC) led redemptions with around $100 million in net outflows, showing that while fresh money continues to enter the sector, some investors are still rotating out of older products.
The ETF inflow streak coincided with improved Bitcoin price action, as reported by crypto.news. BTC briefly rose above $79,000 on Wednesday, reaching that level for the first time since late January. Over the last 30 days, Bitcoin has gained about 11%, showing stronger demand in both the spot market and ETF market. The Crypto Fear & Greed Index rose to 46, its highest reading since late January, though it remains in "fear" territory with Bitcoin still down about 11% since the start of the year.
US-listed spot Ether ETFs also demonstrated robust performance, according to Farside data cited by crypto.news. Those products posted a 10-day inflow streak totaling $633.6 million, following a broader rise in ETH-related investment products that recently turned positive on a year-to-date basis, according to CoinShares. This performance across both Bitcoin and Ether ETFs indicates broader institutional and retail interest in cryptocurrency exposure through regulated investment vehicles.
