According to the latest Binance announcement, the exchange will discontinue Binance Pool and all related mining services on November 10, 2026, marking a significant shift in the platform's mining infrastructure. The shutdown will end mining connections, new hash rate submissions, and reward accrual across Binance Pool, Pool Savings, Cloud Mining, and Transaction Accelerator services. Mining connections and Stratum addresses will be disconnected, with the platform no longer accepting hashrate submissions or mining shares after the deadline. Historical data will remain available until November 24, 2026, after which the Binance Pool page will close permanently.
According to reports from Binance, the exchange will delist Epic Chain (EPIC) and QuickSwap (QUICK) on October 28, removing all spot trading pairs for both tokens. The exchange confirmed the decision on October 14 following its latest review of listed digital assets, considering factors such as trading volume, liquidity, development activity, and project team commitment. Both tokens had spent months under Binance's Monitoring Tag before this decision, with QUICK receiving the label on April 30 and Binance adding EPIC on May 22. The announcement coincided with sharp price declines across both tokens, with QUICK falling 19.67% over 24 hours and EPIC declining 10.54% according to CoinGecko data.
As reported by TradingView, QUICK fell approximately 10% below its pre-announcement level on Binance after the notice went live, with the token remaining 6.69% lower roughly 17 minutes later. EPIC initially declined roughly 9% before recovering during the same short observation period, subsequently trading 5.61% above its pre-announcement price according to TradingView figures. QUICK traded at approximately $0.008169 after falling 19.67% over 24 hours, with its market capitalization falling to approximately $5.37 million and daily trading volume reaching around $1.47 million. EPIC traded near $0.4001, down 10.54% over 24 hours and 16.10% over seven days, with market capitalization at approximately $13.48 million and daily trading volume reaching $10 million.
According to the report, steep losses after Binance delisting notices have repeated across recent rounds. In August, ICON (ICX) and Secret (SCRT) sank to fresh all-time lows, losing 12.5% and 18.8% after the exchange's notice. Earlier that month, PIVX dropped 19.27% and Vulcan Forged PYR (PYR) shed 18.31% after separate announcements. Vanar (VANRY) was the exception, trading 8.23% higher despite early losses, similar to EPIC's rebound today. The exchange placed five additional cryptocurrencies under closer review in August, including ICON, Moonbeam and Moonriver, warning that monitored assets faced potential removal if they failed future assessments.
As detailed in the announcement, Binance will wind down both tokens across its products in stages starting this week. October 15 sees margin borrowing suspended and removal from Buy & Sell Crypto service. October 20 marks the end of new futures positions and settlement of all contracts, with outstanding loans closed and both tokens removed from margin trading. October 21 sees Spot Copy Trading remove affected pairs and Binance Simple Earn discontinue support. October 27 stops low-value asset conversion support, while October 28 closes all remaining services including Binance Convert and all spot trading pairs at 03:00 UTC. December 28 will halt withdrawals, and December 29 may see leftover balances converted to stablecoins, though conversion is not guaranteed.
