According to an official announcement from Binance, the exchange will remove six tokens from spot trading on August 17, 2026, at 03:00 UTC after completing its latest asset review. The affected tokens include Across Protocol (ACX), Hashflow (HFT), PIVX, Vulcan Forged PYR, Vanar (VANRY), and Viction (VIC). As per the official announcement, all spot trading pairs will be removed, and trading bot services will be terminated simultaneously. The exchange stated that every spot pair tied to these assets will close, with outstanding spot orders being canceled.
The delisting announcement triggered immediate market reactions, with PIVX taking the sharpest fall of 19.27% at press time, followed by PYR with an 18.31% loss. Hashflow slid to an all-time low of $0.007 after the notice went live, trading 11.47% lower at press time. VIC posted near-identical declines, down 11.24%, while ACX held up better with a 5.22% decline. VANRY was the lone gainer, up 8.23% despite earlier losses, though this comes with a catch as Binance will not support Vanar's contract swap plan, leaving holders to migrate tokens themselves through the project's portal.
According to crypto.news, the decision was preceded by Monitoring Tags on all six tokens. VIC received the tag on April 30, followed by HFT on May 22, PIVX on June 18, PYR and VANRY on July 3, and ACX on July 24. Binance states that tagged assets carry greater volatility and risk and may be removed if they no longer satisfy its listing standards. The exchange cited its broader review framework covering liquidity, development activity, network safety, team conduct, transparency, tokenomics and regulatory changes without identifying separate reasons for each asset. As per the latest reports, the declines come as no surprise, with previous delisting rounds triggering comparable sell-offs as losing access to the largest exchange by volume typically drains liquidity and forces holders to exit before trading closes.
According to the official announcement, the delisting process begins with Binance Futures preventing users from opening new positions at 08:30 UTC on August 7. The platform will close and automatically settle remaining contracts at 09:00 UTC. Binance Pool and Binance Pay will stop supporting the assets at 03:00 UTC, while VIP Loan and Flexible Loan positions close at 07:00 UTC. Spot Copy Trading will remove affected pairs on August 10, and Simple Earn will redeem positions after 07:00 UTC on the same day. Services for futures, leverage, and wealth management products will also be gradually discontinued as part of the comprehensive platform shutdown. Deposits will no longer be credited after August 18, and withdrawals will close on October 17, 2026.
According to the official announcement, Binance Convert will remove the six assets at 02:00 UTC on August 17, one hour before spot trading ends. The low-value asset conversion feature will stop supporting them on August 14. Deposits made after 03:00 UTC on August 18 will not be credited. Withdrawals will remain available until 03:00 UTC on October 17, 2026. Binance may convert balances left on the platform into stablecoins after October 18, but the exchange stated that conversion is 'not guaranteed.'
