BeInCrypto has announced a strategic partnership with Opera to expand access to digital finance news content. According to reports from BeInCrypto, the collaboration will bring selected articles into Opera's AI-driven content ecosystem, placing the reporting in front of a global user base of more than 296 million monthly active users. Through Opera's recommendation cards, news stories will appear on Opera's homepage and within Opera's articles, representing a significant expansion of BeInCrypto's reach beyond its own domain.
The partnership responds to fundamental changes in how readers discover news content. As reported by BeInCrypto, the way news consumption has evolved means readers no longer rely on direct visits to homepages for updates. According to the Reuters Institute's Digital News Report (June 2026), video news consumption has climbed from 67% in 2020 to 77% today, with social video specifically rising from 52% to 69% over the same period. Social media and video networks have also overtaken news organizations' own websites and apps as the world's most-used news source for the first time, with 54% vs. 51% respectively.
According to BeInCrypto, the integration into Opera's AI-driven content ecosystem addresses the shift from active searching to algorithmic, seamless news discovery. Vlada Morhunova, Product Manager at BeInCrypto, stated that since the company overhauled its homepage infrastructure in April, the shift from active searching to algorithmic discovery has only accelerated. The partnership represents a logical evolution, moving journalism beyond BeInCrypto's own domain and into users' workflow, allowing audiences to access the latest news by visiting beincrypto.com and opera.com.
BeInCrypto is part of the BeInNews Academy Ltd, an independent media group covering the convergence of finance and digital assets. As reported by BeInCrypto, the company helps professionals act with confidence in a complex and fast-changing industry through its newsroom, research reports, events, expert network and multimedia studio. In April this year, the company upgraded its homepage and article experience to better support how readers discover and consume content, including new video and social features.
