
Following successful completion of private testing, BASIS has officially launched its institutional-grade digital asset execution platform. According to reports from BASIS, the platform is now publicly accessible at basis.pro as the company addresses what industry participants describe as a structural gap in digital asset infrastructure. The platform was developed with engineering support from Base58 Labs and has been tested under live market conditions with select institutional participants.
During the testing phase, BASIS demonstrated impressive performance metrics including sub-50 microsecond p99 execution latency, throughput exceeding 100,000 operations per second, and 100% uptime. As reported by BASIS, testing was designed to observe system behavior under unstable execution conditions, including exchange-side latency spikes, API rate limits, liquidity fragmentation across venues, and partial execution failures. These scenarios reflect real trading environments where system behavior under stress determines outcome consistency.
The platform operates as an arbitrage staking system powered by the Base58 Hyper-Latency Engine (BHLE), a proprietary high-frequency execution engine developed by Base58 Labs. According to BASIS CEO Helge Stadelmann, the system identifies and captures pricing discrepancies across exchanges while distributing net arbitrage profits to platform participants through a market-neutral staking structure. Unlike conventional yield products, BASIS derives user rewards exclusively from arbitrage execution profits generated across fragmented digital asset markets, with losses absorbed by the company while users participate only in profit distributions.
BASIS currently supports BTC, ETH, SOL, and PAXG, each convertible into corresponding stTokens through a 1:1 structure, with reward accrual derived from arbitrage profits. As reported by BASIS, the platform operates within a structured governance framework including ISO/IEC 27001:2022, ISO/IEC 20000-1:2018, AICPA SOC, and GDPR compliance standards. The launch reflects a broader shift in market infrastructure development, with execution-layer systems becoming increasingly important for institutional participants requiring consistent deployment frameworks.
