Arbitrum's ARB token has experienced significant momentum, surging 16.28% to reach a monthly high of $0.09. According to reports from AMBCrypto, the altcoin successfully broke out of a thin margin it had maintained for the past week, successfully holding above the $0.073 support level. At press time, ARB was trading around $0.088, marking substantial daily gains as the crypto market surge strengthened the altcoin's upside momentum. The latest market data from CoinGabbar shows market cap at $586.02M (+16.11%) with 24h volume exceeding $152M - representing a 459.99% increase in trading activity.
The Arbitrum protocol is experiencing unprecedented activity levels, with Arbitrum One reaching a record milestone as total RWA holders exceeded 10,000 for the first time. As reported by AMBCrypto, massive capital flowed into the network with USD inflows to the Arbitrum Bridge surging to a four-month high of $324 million. According to CoinGabbar, the official Arbitrum account announced that the network crossed 10,000 real-world asset holders across platforms including Tether Gold, Ondo's U.S. Dollar Yield product, Spiko Finance's EU T-Bills, tokenized stocks, and other tokenized assets. This surge in capital inflows signals increased adoption and engagement with the network, indicating growing user participation across the Arbitrum ecosystem.
The renewed market demand for ARB is evident across both spot and derivatives markets. According to AMBCrypto reports, spot Netflow dropped to -$495k on August 19th and continued negative at -$80k at press time, suggesting most investors were bullish and withdrew ARB from exchanges. In the derivatives market, derivatives volume surged 122% to $193 million while Open Interest climbed 3.3% to $110 million, reflecting increased activity as traders opened new positions. CoinGabbar analysis reveals that ARB futures liquidations picked up sharply with $1.66M in short liquidations against just $202.38K on the long side over the past 24 hours, indicating a squeeze on bearish positioning.
ARB has demonstrated strong technical momentum by flipping the 20- and 50-day EMAs and testing the 100-day EMA, reflecting strong short-term upside pressure. As reported by AMBCrypto, the Relative Strength Index (RSI) made a bullish crossover and rose to 67, further confirming the uptrend. According to CoinGabbar analysis, RSI sits at 77.75, in overbought territory, reflecting how fast this move has come. The EMA 20 sits well below the current price at $0.079479 with the EMA 50 further down at $0.077584, so neither is an immediate obstacle right now. Technical analysis suggests that a confirmed close above $0.089919 opens the path toward $0.100647 and eventually $0.110220, while losing $0.077059 would put the entire breakout structure in question.
