
Zen Technologies shares plunged 11% to ₹1,486 during Monday's trading session after the company reported a steep drop in its March quarter earnings. According to reports from The Economic Times, the defence technology firm posted a 69% year-on-year fall in consolidated net profit to ₹32 crore, compared with ₹101 crore in the same period last year. Despite the sharp decline in the latest session, the stock has gained 22% over the past month and currently commands a market capitalisation of ₹15,088 crore.
Revenue from operations also saw significant pressure, declining 45% YoY to ₹178.7 crore in Q4FY26 from ₹325 crore in the corresponding quarter of the previous fiscal. As reported by The Economic Times, the company noted that its March quarter revenue figures are derived as balancing numbers, calculated as the difference between audited full-year FY26 financials and unaudited year-to-date numbers up to December 31, 2025, which had undergone limited review. On a sequential basis, profit after tax dropped 42% from ₹55 crore reported in Q3FY26, while revenue showed marginal growth of 2.4% quarter-on-quarter, rising from ₹177.82 crore in the October–December quarter.
Despite the challenging quarter, Zen Technologies announced a final dividend of Re 1 per share for FY26, as reported by The Economic Times. The company, known for its anti-drone and defence training solutions, stated that its order book stood at ₹1,336 crore as of March 31, 2026. From a technical perspective, Trendlyne data shows the stock's RSI (14) at 62.4, indicating it is neither overbought nor oversold, though the stock is trading below four out of its eight simple moving averages, suggesting some bearish undertones.
On the shareholding front, foreign institutional investors (FIIs) increased their stake from 5.54% to 5.99% in the March 2026 quarter, according to The Economic Times. Mutual fund holdings also rose from 5.05% to 6.72% during the same period. The company's 52-week high stands at ₹2,268 while the low is ₹1,223, providing context for the current trading levels.
